Mentees 2.0: Program: Where Young Entrepreneurs Build Businesses, Character, and Brotherhood

A high intensity weekly gathering of ambitious young men ages 16-25 who are developing into godly leaders while learning to build meaningful businesses. Mentored by successful Christian businessmen. No shortcuts. Just commitment.

For Parents

Is your son searching for direction, surrounded by friends without ambition, or wondering what to do with his future? Give him a community of driven young men and mentors who will challenge him to become the man God designed him to be.

For Young Men

Tired of advice from people who've never built anything? Ready for real training, not just information? Looking for brothers who share your ambition and values? This is your crew. But be warned: Mentees 2.0 is not casual. We're building men here.

| Weekly Accountability | Faith-Integrated Framework |

| Limited to 15 Mentees | Founding Chapter in Gilbert, AZ |

For Parents:

The Challenge You See

Your son is at a crossroads. He's smart, capable, and full of potential. But you watch him scrolling, gaming, and drifting through days without clear direction. His friends aren't pushing him higher. School isn't teaching him how to build something.

And you know he needs guidance from men who've been where he's trying to go.

You want him to:

  • Learn real business skills before he's forced to figure it out alone.

  • Surround himself with friends who share his ambitions.

  • Develop character, emotional intelligence (EQ), & integrity before the world tests it.

  • Have mentors who model what success with faith looks like.

  • Avoid the traps that derail young men (video games, excessive drinking, unfocused relationships).

  • Build the mental discipline to handle a demanding schedule

But where do you find that? Youth groups do not teach business. Schools do not teach entrepreneurship. And you can't be his only mentor forever.

For Young Men:

The Reality You're Living. YOU....

You know you're capable of more than what's around you.

You've got ideas, ambition, and energy. But most of the people your age are just coasting. They don't understand why you want to build something instead of just finding a "safe job." They don't get why you're thinking about the future when you could be gaming, partying, or chasing distractions.

You've tried learning from YouTube, podcasts, and courses. But information isn't the same as guidance. You need people who will walk with you, answer your specific questions, and hold you accountable when you slip.

You need a crew of guys your age who share your drive.

You' need mentors who've built successful businesses.

And You need someone to believe in you enough to push you harder than you'd push yourself.

Our Story: From Year 1.0 to Mentees 2.0

In 2025, we launched the Mentees Program with a few young men who did not know what they were doing. Neither did we (especially Lorenzo), honestly. That first year was experimental, casual, and focused on figuring out what worked.

Here's what happened:

Three of them started their own businesses. One discovered what he doesn’t want to pursue (which saved him years of going in the wrong direction). And all five said they're excited to keep going.

But our founding members, Dom and Jacoby, came to us with feedback:

"We need more intensity. We need to separate those who are getting meaningful results from those who are just showing up. And we need to go deeper than just business."

So, we listened. And Mentees 2.0 was born.

What Makes 2.0 Different

Mentees 2.0 moves away from a "strictly business" approach to focus on holistic mentorship. We're integrating principles from Bible study and business training to help you improve as an individual, a future mentor, and an adult.

This isn't a classroom. It's training.

Think of your mind like a physical muscle: just as a heavy workout strengthens your body and everyday tasks feel lighter, challenging your mind with a packed schedule of business, faith, and personal development makes complex problems feel simple and manageable.

What to Expect:

  • Hands-on activities (not just lectures)

  • Visits to manufacturing facilities and local businesses

  • Networking meetings, expos, conferences, and events that sharpen your skills

  • Guest speakers who provide real-world business perspective

  • High standards for attendance, participation, and follow-through

  • Emotional intelligence training (a skill the Legacy Men group identified as critical for young men)

November 2025 Survey Results

We surveyed our founding Mentees to evaluate the program and gather feedback. On a scale from 1 = "Complete waste of time" to 10 = "Life-changing, wouldn't miss it")

Here's what we found:

  • Program Value: Average rating 7.8/10

  • Top Outcomes: 3 of 5 started their own business. 2 of 5 learned what they DON'T want to do (valuable self-discovery). 1 launched a business and is still making money

  • Meeting Excitement: 100% said they feel "Excited, I look forward to it" when thinking about coming to meetings

  • Highest-Rated Elements: Group discussion/sharing: 4.8/5. Working on businesses during meeting: 4.2/5. Accountability check-ins: 4.0/5

  • Faith Integration: 3 of 5 said it's "very important, that's why I'm here"

  • Program Continuation: 100% want to continue in 2026

  • The Key Feedback: More accountability, more intensity, more doing. That's exactly what Mentees 2.0 delivers.

What Our Founding Mentees Said:

  • "Lorenzo is a great mentor and it's fun to be with all my friends learning business."

  • "The best program to learn how to start a business and valuable skills."

  • "A group of lifelong friends that are inspired to become entrepreneurs, led and guided by Lorenzo."

  • "Group of young men who get together every week to collaborate, share ideas, wins, and losses."

The Mentees Five Pillars

Marriage is God’s invention. We must care about our next generation of men so they will built stronger everything The Mentees Program adapts the BreakthruPreneurs Five Pillars framework for young men who aren't yet married:

  • GOD FIRST. Your identity is child of God first. Faith is the foundation for everything.

  • HEALTH AND FITNESS SECOND. Physical discipline builds mental discipline. You can't lead others if you can't lead yourself. We emphasize fitness, stress management, and taking care of the body God gave you.

  • I-FAMILY THIRD (Son and Sibling Focus). Before you can lead a future family, learn to honor the one you're in now. Be a better son. Be a better brother. These relationships are your training ground for future leadership.

  • BUSINESS AND FINANCIAL LITERACY FOURTH. Learn to build, manage money, serve clients with integrity, and create value. This is where entrepreneurship meets Kingdom principles.

How It Works

Our New Mentees 2.0 - Weekly Meetings

Weekly Meetings (evenings 6:00p to 8:00p), Mentees gather for two hours of high-energy learning, discussion, and hands-on work. This isn't a classroom lecture. It's a brotherhood of young entrepreneurs building alongside each other. Here's what a typical meeting looks like:

  • Opening Energy and Vision: We start with an energizer activity & prayer. Remind everyone why we're here.

  • Win of the Week: Mentees share 1-2 wins from their week. We celebrate everything. Getting Mentees used to claiming victories/hearing each other's, builds momentum.

  • Skill Builder: Interactive teaching on practical skills like building a LinkedIn profile, creating a website, networking, financial basics, public speaking, or morning routines. We teach for 5-7 minutes, then immediately practice.

  • Small Group Mentorship Circles: Groups of 3-5 Mentees with one MCBC mentor for real conversation. Deep discussion on struggles, fears, ambitions, and how faith integrates with business. Mentors share first to model vulnerability. We pray for specific needs.

  • Challenge and Commitment: Each Mentee verbally commits to one action before next week's meeting. Everyone knows they'll be asked if they followed through. This is accountability in action.

  • Closing and Fellowship: Prayer led by a Mentee (not just mentors), then time to hang out, connect, and build friendships naturally.

How Year One Created Two Tracks

As some Mentees started making real money, landing clients, and marketing their products, they needed more than foundational training. Meanwhile, newer Mentees were still figuring out what direction to pursue.

The founding members, Dom and Jacoby, helped design the solution:

Two distinct tracks that meet different needs while maintaining one brotherhood.

Track 1: Developmental Phase Program

For Mentees Still Discovering Their Direction. Not every young entrepreneur knows exactly what business they want to build. Some have ideas but haven't tested them. Others are exploring multiple directions. And some just know they want to build something meaningful but haven't found the right fit yet.

Meeting Schedule: Every Friday at 6:00 PM

What to Expect:

  • Foundational business skills (finding your first customer, pricing basics, time management, communication, online presence)

  • Exploration of different business models and ideas

  • Mentorship from MCBC members who help you discover your path

  • Brotherhood with other young men in the same stage

  • Accountability to keep moving forward even when direction isn't clear

  • Hands-on activities and real-world exposure

The goal:

Help you figure out what you want to build and take your first steps toward building it. You don't need a polished business plan. You need curiosity, commitment, and willingness to work.

Track 2: Elite Mentees Program For Mentees Already Building and Earning

Some Mentees arrive (or advance) with businesses already generating revenue. They have clients. They're marketing products and services. They've moved beyond "figuring it out" into "making it work."

These young entrepreneurs need different support. They're not asking:

"What should I build?" They're asking "How do I scale what I've built?" and "How do I handle this specific challenge?"

Meeting Schedule: Every Monday at 6:00 PM

What to Expect:

  • Advanced business coaching from MCBC members

  • Deep dives into scaling, systems, client management, and growth strategies

  • Training in relationship building, honesty, and understanding the client's human side

  • High-ticket sales training (learning to be "closers")

  • Peer accountability with other Elite Mentees who understand your stage

  • Opportunities to coach Developmental Phase Mentees (leadership development through teaching)

The Elite Core:

Dom and Jacoby are the founding members of this group. They help set the standard and will be involved in interviewing new candidates to ensure fit and commitment.

The Pathway Between Programs

Developmental Mentees who demonstrate consistent progress can advance to the Elite track. Advancement requires

  • Consistent revenue generation (not one-time sales)

  • Established client or customer base

  • Active marketing of products or services

  • Demonstrated commitment and accountability

  • Recommendation from MCBC mentor & approval from founding members

Elite Mentees don't just receive. They give back by coaching Developmental Mentees, creating a mentorship chain. MCBC members mentor Elite Mentees, who mentor Developmental Mentees, who eventually become Elite Mentees, who eventually become MCBC members.

Mentorship from Successful Businessmen

Learn directly from Married Christian Businessmen who've built real companies. They've made the mistakes you're about to make. They know shortcuts that took them years to discover. And they're investing in you because someone did (or should have done) the same for them.

Practical Business Skills Not theory or fluff. Real skills you can use immediately, like HOW TO:

  • Find and close your first customer

  • Price what you sell

  • Handle money and basic financial management

  • Communicate professionally

  • Build an online presence

  • Network without being awkward

  • Manage your time when nobody's forcing you

Real-World Exposure Mentees 2.0 goes beyond the meeting room:

  • Visits to manufacturing facilities and local businesses

  • Attendance at networking meetings, expos, and conferences

  • Guest speakers sharing real-world business perspectives

  • Hands-on activities that build actual skills

Brotherhood of Ambitious Young Men

The founding cohort became lifelong friends. They pushed each other, celebrated each other's wins, and keep each other accountable when motivation faded. You'll grow alongside brothers who share your values and ambition.

Emotional Intelligence Training

Beyond technical skills, we emphasize emotional intelligence, empathy, and listening. Lorenzo & three others founded "The Legacy Men" a group of Christian men who've been studying the Bible together since 2022, unanimously agreed:

If young men can learn EQ early, it helps whatever direction they take, whether working for someone or owning their own company.

The Accountability You Actually Need

Our Mentees told us loud and clear:

They want more accountability.

They want to be held to their commitments. They want someone who won't let them slide when they start procrastinating. Mentees 2.0 delivers that every single week.

Faith Integration Without Weirdness

This isn't church. And it's not a secular business program pretending faith doesn't exist.

We pray together. We talk about how to build businesses that honor God.

We discuss how to be men of integrity in a world that rewards shortcuts.

Three of our five founding Mentees said faith integration is

"very important, that's why I'm here."

This Is for You If:

  • You're 16-25 years old

  • You're interested in entrepreneurship (even if you don't know exactly what yet)

  • You're willing to show up weekly and do the work

  • You want mentors who will push you and hold you accountable

  • You're comfortable with Christian faith being integrated (even if you're still figuring out your own faith)

  • You're ready to be part of a brotherhood, not just a program

  • You're willing to be challenged and stretched beyond your comfort zone

This Is NOT For You If:

  • You want to sit back and be entertained without participating

  • You're not willing to commit to weekly meetings

  • You expect instant results without putting in effort

  • You want business advice separate from character development

  • You're looking for a quick scheme to make money

  • You're not ready to cut distractions that hold you back

  • You just want to "hang out" without growing

What We Ask of Mentees:

  • Weekly attendance (show up consistently)

  • Verbal commitments each week (and follow-through)

  • Active participation (no hiding in the back)

  • Respect for the brotherhood (confidentiality, encouragement, honesty)

  • Willingness to be challenged and held accountable

  • Openness to feedback from mentors and founding members

Why We Charge

Year One was free.

Our founding members, including Dom and Jacoby, suggested we charge for Mentees 2.0. Why? Because as Lorenzo has always taught them:

"When they pay, they pay attention."

A membership fee ensures:

  • Commitment from everyone in the room

  • Skin in the game that motivates follow-through

  • Separation of those who are serious from those who are just curious

  • Resources to provide better programming, field trips, and guest speakers

Mentees FAQs

Q: How much does it cost?

Mentees 2.0 requires a membership investment (pricing details available upon application). This ensures commitment and provides resources for enhanced programming. Scholarships are available for committed Mentees who demonstrate financial need.

Q: When and where do meetings happen?

Monday evenings at 6:00 PM (Elite Mentees) and Friday evenings at 6:00 PM (Developmental Phase) in Gilbert, Arizona. Location details provided upon acceptance.

Q: What's the difference between Developmental and Elite programs?

The Developmental Phase Program (Fridays) is for young men still figuring out their business direction or just getting started. The Elite Mentees Program (Mondays) is for young men already making money with clients and active marketing. Both meet weekly with different focuses.

Q: What if I miss a meeting?

Life happens. But consistency matters. If you miss frequently, you'll fall behind and lose the accountability rhythm. We ask for weekly commitment because that's what works.

Q: Do I need a business idea already?

No, some Mentees come with specific ideas. Others join to discover what they want to build. The exploration is the design of the Developmental Phase.

Q: Is this religious?

Yes. We're unapologetically Christian. We pray together, discuss how faith integrates with business, and talk about character and integrity. You don't need to have everything figured out spiritually, but you do need to be comfortable in that environment.

Q: What ages qualify?

16-25 years old. If you're outside that range but interested, contact us to discuss options.

Q: Can girls join?

Currently, the Mentees Program is designed for young men, mirroring. BreakthruPreneurs' focus on Married Christian Businessmen with Children. We are considering developing programs for young women in the future.

Q: What happens when I turn 26 or get married?

You graduate to the pathway toward full BreakthruPreneurs membership when you become a Married Christian Businessman with Children. The relationships and foundation you built as a Mentee prepare you for that community.

Q: Can I move from Developmental to Elite?

Yes. As you grow your business and demonstrate consistent revenue, client acquisition, and accountability, you can advance to the Elite track with approval from mentors and founding members.

Q: Who are Dom and Jacoby?

Dom and Jacoby are the founding members of the Mentees Program. They helped shape Mentees 2.0 and are involved in interviewing new candidates to ensure fit and commitment. They set the standard for what it means to be a Mentee.

Q: Do Elite Mentees help train Developmental Mentees?

Yes. Elite Mentees serve as coaches within the Developmental Phase Program, developing their leadership skills while providing relatable peer models.

Q: What kind of activities are included?

Beyond weekly meetings, Mentees 2.0 includes visits to manufacturing facilities and local businesses, attendance at networking meetings and expos, guest speakers, and hands-on activities that build real skills.

Closing Questions

Lorenzo's father never mentored him. He learned entrepreneurship in secret and building his dreams alone. The Mentees Program ensures no young entrepreneur walks that lonely path again.

  • For Young Men: The guys who succeed aren't smarter or more talented than you. They just had someone in their corner, pushing them, teaching them, believing in them when they doubted themselves. Mentees 2.0 offers real mentors, real brothers, real accountability, and real training. But it's not for everyone. It's for young men who are ready to work, ready to grow, and ready to become the men God designed them to be.

  • For Parents: Give your son the advantage you wish you had. The mentors, the community, the accountability, the practical skills, and the faith integration he needs to become a man of character, discipline, and purpose.
